Joe always had his finger on the pulse of the next big thing.

BREAKTV

The Earliest Video Streaming Company In The History Of The Internet

Before YouTube perfected streaming, BreakTV invented it. Joe was an accomplished programmer who coded one of the earliest examples of video streaming in the history of the entire internet.

THINQUE SYSTEMS

First of its kind sales force automation

At Thinque Systems, Joe brought whole industries into the new millennium by creating technology that allowed a number of major retailers and restaurant chains—including Taco Bell, Nestlé, and Anheuser-Busch—to digitally automate their inventory. It was here he researched and developed some of the earliest examples of personal tablets long before Apple.

HANDS ACROSS AMERICA

Sunday, May 25, 1986, when 5 to 6.5 million people held hands for 15 minutes to form a continuous human chain across the contiguous United States

Early in his career, Joe helped shape the course of history for the better by building the system that made it possible to coordinate Hands Across America.

…And he did all of this without any fanfare.
